ARTIST STATEMENT

I have always expressed myself through illustrations or line sketches. From simple animated characters to rough expressive scribbles that overwhelm the page. A lot of my inspiration stems from the illustrators of kid’s books and comics such as Roald Dahl’s stories and the Dandy.

THE REFOUND PIECE

In continuation with the nursery rhyme theme I have developed over the last few ‘ReFounds’, I decided to use the dynamic duo Jack and Jill. The bottom table depicts their reactions after the turbulent tumble, pointing out the blame for their misfortunes.
